Ulverston Leisure Centre sits on the south edge of town with a 25-metre four-lane pool in a hall of big windows looking toward the Furness fells. Lane swimming, over-50s sessions, lessons and aquafit share the timetable. The gym was rebuilt with cardio, resistance kit and free weights. Cumbria's largest tennis centre is here too - indoor and outdoor courts - plus a 3G pitch, bowling green and group classes from yoga to BODYPUMP.
