How to get there

Start at the New Dungeon Ghyll car park. Mill Gill / Stickle Ghyll is the steep, obvious public path (about 45–75 minutes up). Rough, rocky and busy. Turn back in winter ice. The tarn is the destination — we do not mark a scramble onto Pavey Ark.
