How to get there
A592 from Penrith or Kirkstone. Steamers between Pooley Bridge, Howtown and Glenridding. Park at Glenridding, Pooley Bridge or Aira Force. The lakeshore path on the west side is a public right of way in sections — use the terrain map, not a guessed line.
