Kendal Leisure Centre is the main public pool and gym for South Lakeland, on Burton Road with parking and a bus link from town. The 25-metre six-lane pool and learner pool cover lane swimming, lessons, aqua classes and family sessions, with a pool hoist and Changing Places facilities. The gym, group-cycle studio and sports hall add badminton, basketball and pickleball; a sauna and steam room sit beside the pool. Run by Better (GLL) for Westmorland and Furness Council.
